BackSpace doesn't navigate to previous directory in Nautilus?
So you recently installed Debian for example, and are irritated due to the fact that the BackSpace Key doesn't take you to the previous directory! Its simple to rectify this, just use the below step and you will have the BackSpace serve you as its supposed to :D
Edit the ~/.config/nautilus/accels file by running either of the following commands:
gedit ~/.config/nautilus/accels
or
nano ~/.config/nautilus/accels
or
vim ~/.config/nautilus/accels
and enter the following line in this file at the end:
(gtk_accel_path "<Actions>/ShellActions/Back" "BackSpace").
PS: Do not include a semicolon at the beginning of this line.
